Keep stems in clean water with no foliage below the water line when not in use and out of direct sun and heat if possible. After the event, clip all stems on a diagonal and change water daily with floral preservative. It is important that your flowers come to us as soon as possible (48 hours maximum) after the event. Flower care after your ceremony is vital to the best end result of your art piece. To prepare for shipping, wrap flower stem with several soaking wet paper towels, making sure the stem tips are covered and place in a bag to hold moisture. Secure with a rubber band to keep water from leaking but not so tight as to crush the stems. Carefully wrap bouquet in newspaper or other paper and place bouquet, stems down, in a large box and arrange packing paper to support the bouquet. Make sure everything is well packed in the box to avoid any shifting or crushing of the bouquet. Some people pack the stems in a smaller box and then pack that into the larger box.
